We are looking for an experienced player with aspirations to develop as a coach, either at the beginning of their coaching journey or looking to attain their Advanced Coaching Award / Level 3. Guildford Gazelles have aspirations to achieve promotion to Championship 1 and the Player-Coach would be expected to contribute to that ambition in both a playing and coaching capacity.

Person Specification & Experience Needed:

• Committed to playing and coaching regularly for Guildford Gazelles
• Experience of playing professional rugby, PWR / International level
• Demonstrable technical and tactical knowledge of rugby union 
• Proactive approach to communication, organisation, and working as part of a team
• Support the Head Coach in delivering a high-quality performance environment, staying true to our culture of performance, care and enjoyment
• Ability to recruit senior players (Desirable)
• Coach the U16 & U18 Girls before senior training (Desirable)
• Must be able to obtain a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
